John Edwards: His part in blazing the path of history

John Edwards saw history in the making and played his role. Indeed, history will be blazing its path, for the first time ever in the United States it is certain that either a woman or a black man will be the Democratic candidate for President.

It is not yet certain who will enter 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue after the swearing in, but if it's either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, it will indeed be an extraordinary moment for America. Now the World's eyes will be fixed even more on the US Presidential elections, history is indeed going to blaze its path.

John Edwards Drops Out of the Democratic Race

John Edwards announced today that he is dropping out of the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination. He stood for good causes, giving voice to the poor and middle class in America whose voices too often were not heard in the corridors of power. I'm sorry to see him go, but his causes will live on and I believe will be central to the 2008 election.

US Primaries 2008 - My Predictions

Given the current political environment in the United States, and the primaries and caucuses so far, I predict that Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee and Mitt Romney the Republican nominee.

These are the very well financed and very well organized campaigns.

These are not necessarily my favourite candidates, but that's the way it goes. It's a possibility that Barack Obama may pull it off, which would be great.

Hillary Clinton believes in "Change" and wins the New Hampshire primary

I was not going to do another picture of Hillary Clinton after her Iowa loss. I felt bad for her, especially when she broke down and was almost in tears at a public meeting in New Hampshire. However, now that she has won New Hampshire, and is in good shape to fight for another day and another primary, she is fair game :)
