Richard A. Falk and Desmond Tutu were barred entery into Israel

In my previous post I pointed out that Richard A. Falk, a world renowned humanitarian and human rights activist, working for UN, was barred from entering Israel because he does not agree with the policies of Israel with regards to the Palestinians.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, also received the Albert Schweitzer Prize for Humanitarianism and the Gandhi Peace Prize. He fought against apartheid in South Africa alongside Nelson Mandela. He was denied entry into Israel as well by Israeli authorities. Apparently, the Israeli goverenment knew he does not like apartheid. What lengths will Israel go to hide its crimes against humanity and atrocities against the Palestinian people?

  1. Yah you sure know you're on the right side of history when you have to bar Desmond Tutu from entering your country. Yah nothing to hide at all. I would suggest that any objective person who takes one look at the "security fence" and the "settlements" would know immediately who the bad guy is in this situation. Not to mention the usual slaughter of innocents in Gaza. You don't have to be a noble peace prize winner to see that.

  2. MD, thank you. The reason I put Desmond Tutu’s video up because these pro-Israel unconditionally fanatics demonize anyone who speaks against the atrocities of Israel. Any objector to this carnage is quickly labelled as anti-Semite and neo-Nazi. I wanted to check how far they would go. Would they do the same to Desmond Tutu? I agree with you that any reasonable person can tell that it is apartheid of worst kind and massacre of innocent men, women and children.
