The media story goes that a day before Obama's visit to Canada, Russian fighter planes violated Canada's airspace over the Arctic. PM Harper scrambled the fighter jets and scared the Russians away. Oh really! We are an air power to reckon with given our mighty, fierce Snowbirds. Watch out Putin. Now Harper not only defends our sovereignty over the Arctic but also protects Uncle Sam from those big bad Russians.
I do not think that Sarah Palin sounded so bad when she said that when Putin comes to the US he has to cross Alaska therefore she knows all about Russia. Steve scared away the Russians. That is something. We should erect his statue on the North Pole, preferably made of ice. With global warming that statue should last a long time... Recommend this post
