Is there anything to allegations that she mistreated her housekeepers or is it one of those political assassination monstrosities? First it was some Bollywood movie and now this. Ruby Dhalla is one of the few Liberal MPs who actually has liberal views. This is based on what I read about her, including her stand on the proper education for special needs children.
Where is Iggy on this? What about supporting a fellow caucus member or is this autocratic man for himself only? Another disappointing action/non-action by Iggy.

ReplyDeleteA good leader takes a position on a situation like this. Iggy simple goes into hiding because his own hide takes priority over other members of the caucus. Not impressed.

CWTF, I am no an authority on Dhalla and I will take your words for it. However, Iggy is completely silent. Does that mean he only speaks for elites and Dhalla does not qualify?

ReplyDeleteAt this point in time the charges against Ms. Dhalla are only alleged until they can be proven true. Only 700 votes separated Dhalla from the loser and the PC's believe they can win this time around. Fact or Fancy? Only time and examination of the nannies allegations will determine the outcome. At any rate, Dhalla's political career as an MP has been ruined. I am sure that Iggy will deal with her in an appropriate way when all the facts come to light.
