Dave Chappelle on police

This may be a good description how a black man feels when confronted by white police. A blogger friend, Fish, mentioned Dave Chappelle in a comment to my post on Glenn Beck. I thought I would post this video. It is hilarious and makes the point well.

  1. Brilliant- Dave sums it up nicely. At the risk of using a cliche, my Black friends "know" the rules. If they get pulled over, or have any interaction with cops, they show the utmost respect - out of fear. Fear of providing officers with any reason to escalate the situation.

After all, who are you gonna believe? The guy with the badge, "protecting" society, or the the black guy, driving with a broken tail light?

  2. Christian, thank you for your comment. It is unfortunate but racial profiling is well and alive. Studies after studies on race relations reveal that as well as these ongoing incidents. It is hoped that some day we will overcome this social malaise.
