Jesus and Taxes on the Rich

Lawrence O’Donnell on the taxes on the rich in response to Rush Limbaugh who said Jesus would not tax the rich. Very insightful commentary by O’Donnell.

  1. Thanks for helping to spread this around. I saw it when it was originally aired on MSNBC Monday night. His interview of Billy Graham's son, which preceded this, was pretty good, too.

One thing that O'Donnell didn't come right out and say (although I suspect he will eventually) is that this whole religious right thing in the US is about Dominionism, which is something very different from Christianity. If you take a can of tuna and put a salmon label on it, it's still tuna; if you take a Dominionist church and put a cross on top of it, that doesn't make it Christian.

  2. Bob Broughton, thank you for your comment. Franklin Graham is nothing more than a charlatan.

    You're right about Dominionism.
