Four Star General Demoted for Lavish Spending


First General Petraeus resigning because of an affair, then Marine General John Allen investigated for improper communications with a woman, and now this? Four Star general William Ward, who headed the Africa command for the US military, demoted for lavish spending. Among other things, General Ward spent $750 for a one night hotel stay in Bermuda. Other instances, he travelled with his wife at military expense, accepted gifts.
