U. S. : Forest fires and flooding

U.S. South-west has uncontrollable fires because of lack of rain and dry forests - millions of people are displaced. In the North-east there is too much rain and cities and towns are flooded, millions displaced and some deaths as well. I don't know if U.S ever faced this kind of severe situation before. Below is a picture of a fire near Yosemite National Park in California.

Update: Another picture of the fire near Yosemite National Park in California.

SURROUNDED: Inmate firefighters walked along Highway 120 as firefighters battled
the Rim fire near California’s Yosemite National Park Sunday. The U.S. Forest Service
says the fire is threatening about 4,500 structures. Statewide, more
than 8,300 firefighters are battling nearly 400 square miles of fires.
